Vaccine Positioning Statement
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all our patients, we are implementing a vaccine policy to ensure the well-being of everyone in our office. Our policy stipulates that we do not accept families who are not vaccinating their children.
The criteria for vaccination compliance are as follows:
- If requesting an alternate vaccine schedule, vaccines need to be initiated no later than 6 months of age.
- The primary vaccine series must be completed by 2 years of age.
- The 4-5 year, 11 year, and 16 year vaccines should be completed by 6, 12, and 17 years respectively.
Additionally, we will not accept unvaccinated new patients above 6 months of age into our practice. If, however, an unvaccinated child is seen at a visit, the parents or guardians will be required to provide documentation of childhood vaccines within 30 days or initiate a vaccination schedule within 60 days from the date of their first visit, otherwise the patient will be terminated from Roswell Pediatric Center, PC for failure to comply with this policy.
It is our firm belief that vaccination is a critical component of public health, preventing the spread of diseases and safeguarding the well-being of our community. This policy aligns with established medical guidelines as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We understand that individual circumstances may vary, and we are open to addressing concerns or providing additional information to support families in making informed decisions about vaccination.
