Dr. Silverman is retiring!

Our beloved Dr. Silverman is retiring from RPC at the end of June. Dr. Silverman has been a pediatrician for THIRTY-FIVE YEARS, providing outstanding pediatric care to generations of families. He will be greatly missed by our staff and patients alike. We congratulate him on a wonderful career and a legacy of care and compassion we will never forget. Please join us in wishing him a very happy, relaxing, well-deserved retirement.
Below is a letter from Dr. Silverman to his patients and families.
Dear Parents and Families,
As I retire from Roswell Pediatrics, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. It has truly been a privilege to care for your children over the years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of their lives as they have grown, laughed, and learned.
From the very first appointment way back in April 1992 to the countless visits along the way, I have been humbled by your trust and the bonds we have built. Watching your children thrive and knowing I played a small role in their health and well-being has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
I have witnessed so many milestones—first steps, first words, and so many other moments of joy—and I will carry those memories with me always. Your dedication to your children’s health has been truly inspiring, and I thank you for allowing me to be part of your families’ journeys. Thank you for laughing at my silly jokes and not rolling your eyes when they weren’t funny.
I am looking forward to spending my retirement with my growing family, traveling, and hitting lots of tennis and golf balls (lumbar spine permitting). I dread missing my colleagues, our wonderful staff, and all of you.
While I am retiring from my practice, I know your children will continue to receive exceptional care from the wonderful team that will be taking over. Please rest assured that they will be in good hands, as we have always believed that providing compassionate, thoughtful care is the most important thing we can do for children.
Thank you for your trust, for your kindness, and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives. I will forever cherish the relationships we have built and the moments we have shared.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Howard Silverman
